To prevent DDoS attacks on your server, your traffic is filtered through an advanced IP firewall, so any potential attacks are stopped in their tracks. These security settings can be adjusted in the control panel.

Looking for a low-cost Linux dedicated server? Our Linux servers come with Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, and Open Suse. If you want affordably priced dedicated servers with Windows, our Windows servers feature Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 2016.

Yes. Pricing is transparent so you know how much your low-price dedicated server will cost you from the start. Please bear in mind that we charge a one-time setup fee.

It isn’t possible to make a general statement about the most expensive component of a server. For powerful servers, the most expensive component will probably be the CPU. For entry-level models, e.g. those with 4c processors and low memory, the motherboard can be the most expensive part. However, if servers with large SSD or NVMe storage (especially in the storage server sector) are available, then the memory is the most expensive component.

With your personal consultant on hand during regular business hours as well as 24/7 expert support, you’ll never have to go it alone. Many budget dedicated service providers skimp on support, but you can rest assured that this isn’t the case with IONOS.
